Personal trainer Cristiano Iovino was reportedly attacked overnight between Sunday and Monday in Milan by some unknown individuals who arrived in a van. The 37-year-old, who lives between Rome and the Lombard capital, is known for having given interviews about an alleged flirtation with Ilary Blasi and is mentioned as a witness in the separation case between Francesco Totti and the showgirl.

According to what has emerged so far, Iovino at 3:30 AM was on Via Marco Ulpio Traiano, on the outskirts of Milan, and was heading home when he was surrounded by 5-6 men, who got out of a van and began to beat him.

The man, who has not yet filed a complaint, was assisted by the 118 emergency services and treated on the spot. The carabinieri also intervened. Cristiano Iovino currently refuses to comment on the news, merely denying the incident.

Who is Cristiano Iovino

Iovino is a personal trainer and an entrepreneur. On his left arm, the phrase "Audere semper" and a skull with a rose in its mouth: he would be the man whom Totti had described as "very far from him" adding "fortunately" who had a liaison with the former wife. He lives between Rome and Milan and is a fan of Lazio. Before the media attention from the alleged flirtation with Ilary Blasi, Iovino had an Instagram profile with 55,000 followers, which was later deactivated.

In the documentary "Unica" aired on Netflix in recent months, Blasi stated that she had met Iovino, but limited their interaction to just one coffee together: "This guy had a peculiar life and we were curious, but we only saw him for 40 minutes at his place, which was near the station from which we had to catch the train", she said in the docufilm, without ever directly mentioning him.
