Young Woman Raped by Two Men in Rome After Being Lured Through Instagram

Raped by two men in an apartment on the outskirts of Rome after being lured on Instagram. This is the nightmare a 20-year-old girl from Rome experienced. The young woman filed a complaint in recent days with the police of the Casilino station, and investigations were immediately launched. The assault is said to have taken place last week, precisely on April 17th. The alarm was raised the day after when her boyfriend, worried because he could not find her, managed to locate her through her cell phone. He found her in front of a bar in the Torre Angela area, on the eastern outskirts of Rome. When he reached her, the young woman was distraught, in a state of shock. She was examined at a hospital and discharged by the doctors with a 40-day prognosis. The twenty-year-old would have told investigators that she met the two boys, possibly North Africans, on social media and had agreed to meet them for a drink. After having something together in a bar, those two boys would have offered to give her a ride to the metro station she needed to take to go home. But things went differently. Instead of stopping the car in front of the nearest metro station, they headed to an apartment on the outskirts of the city. Here a real nightmare began for her: they drugged her and then raped her. After collecting the complaint, the police started the initial investigations. Checks are currently being carried out by investigators to accurately reconstruct what happened and trace the two boys described by the young woman. Under scrutiny, at this time, is the social platform to identify who is behind the profile used to set up the meeting with the victim and to give a name and face to the two boys accused by the girl of the assault. And just a few days ago in the capital, another very young girl had reported being drugged inside a nomad camp. Last April 11th, a fourteen-year-old was rescued, in a confused state, by a local police patrol in the camp on via Salone where she lives with her family. She reported having been drugged in the days before inside the settlement.
