Violent Brawl Breaks Out on Naples-Ibiza Flight at Capodichino Airport

A violent brawl broke out on board a plane at Capodichino airport, in Naples, just before its departure for Ibiza. The main actors were two women, but the reason for the heated argument is unclear, although judging from the words of more than one person on social media, it might be suspected to involve infidelity. A passenger recorded the scene and the video was shared on social media, particularly by Welcome to Favelas, showing one of the two women holding the other by the hair, trying to pull it out, while insults of all kinds were flying. In the meantime, a man - who appears to be part of the crew - stepped in attempting to separate them, but without success. Passengers grew increasingly astonished and even the flight crew couldn't do much, which is why it was decided to call the police. After the fighting and insults, some of which were understandable ("Bitch, scoundrel, cuckold") and some less so, the two women were taken away by the police and the plane departed for Spain, although with a bit of delay. In response to the incident, a spokesperson for EasyJet released a statement to Fanpage.it: "We can confirm that the police intervened on flight EJU4203 from Naples to Ibiza on April 14 before departure due to the violent behavior of two passengers on board. The passengers were disembarked and the flight arrived at its destination on time. Our cabin crew is trained to handle all situations to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is never compromised. While these incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate aggressive or intimidating behavior on board."
