Unusual Interruption at Brazilian Soccer Match: Fan Smokes Marijuana on Field

During the Brazilian championship match between Nautico and Sport Recife, a rather unusual incident occurred. A fan, in fact, entered the field twice, smoking marijuana and sniffing from a plastic bottle. The match was paused for a few minutes, to allow the Brazilian police to stop the fan and take him off the field. This was reported by the local broadcaster Diario de Pernambuco. Two law enforcement officers chased the man who had entered the field wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt and a pair of shorts. With utmost naturalness, he smoked marijuana, with the players standing still waiting to be able to resume the match. An episode that has made its rounds on the web, definitely curious.
