Tragic Motorcycle Accident in Rome: Elderly Rider Killed in Collision

Officers from the Prati Groups and Gpit of the Local Police intervened in a serious accident that occurred in Maresciallo Giardino square, near Angelico avenue, where around 2:15 pm, for reasons still under investigation, a BMW motorcycle driven by a 77-year-old man collided with a Fiat Panda. The man riding the motorcycle died immediately after the impact. A 60-year-old foreign woman who was driving the car immediately stopped to provide first aid. The section of Maresciallo Giardino square, between Angelico/Durazzo avenue and the traffic light intersection with Clodia ring road, was closed. Further investigations are still ongoing by the officers of the I Prati Group of the Local Police to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
