Superbike rider Danilo Petrucci underwent surgery first on his jaw and then on his collarbone. The superbike rider from the Barni Spark Racing team appeared bandaged and with the aftermath of a hospital stay, from which he was discharged during the day, and did not hide the fear experienced after the fall: "I am very happy to be here since, firstly, I am alive and while I was falling for a moment I thought I would not be able to tell the tale." Petrucci's Words On Instagram, the former MotoGP rider made an assessment after the accident: "I'm better, I've left the hospital, I'm almost well even though as you can see I took a bad hit on the jaw. It broke in several parts, as did the collarbone and the scapula. Unfortunately, I also cut a nerve in the jaw but it should heal. In addition to the two plates, I also have twenty screws in my hand and furthermore, three plates and some screws were added but I am happy to go home. I think we'll see each other at Misano." A situation that led to an immediate and delicate operation on the jaw performed by the Maxillofacial Surgery led by Dr. Paolo Balercia and subsequently a new operation on the collarbone with Dr. Raffaele Pascarella, director of the Division of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
