A speech that, on the same day it was given, will remain in memory, becoming her farewell to the city she so loved and her testament. At the end of the ceremony, she had said goodbye to her colleagues from the council, saying she did not feel well and wanted to go to the office to get a hot drink. A local police officer found her, by then lifeless. Her death has caused dismay and disbelief throughout the province, among her fellow citizens, among fellow mayors, in the world of industry and academia, from the union and from sports, with unanimous condolences for a woman who had been able, from the very beginning of her election - she who had never been involved in politics before - to be appreciated for her competence, frankness, determination, enthusiasm, passion. THE DETERMINATION. With a degree in architecture, she had worked for 13 years in the private sector then in 2012 became an employee of the Municipality of Milan. In 2016 came the turning point, her candidacy in the administrative elections of her city, Castellanza, with the civic list, Partecipiamo, and the victory. Five years later, in 2021, the re-election and she always with the same determination and the same enthusiasm ready, as she said, to give her best for her city which from yesterday is silenced, closed in silence, dismayed and incredulous at her sudden disappearance.
