Security Staff Found Dead at Castel Sant'Angelo

The body of a security staff member of the Museum was found inside Castel Sant'Angelo, around 5:45 PM. A belt was tied around his neck to the railing of a room on the first floor of the building. From an external examination, no signs of other injuries are visible. The Carabinieri from the Roma Prati Station, the Company of Roma San Pietro are investigating the case. Also present were the Carabinieri of the 7th Section of the Investigative Unit of Rome to carry out technical surveys.
