Rome Ranks Fourth in Europe's Best Cities Report by Resonance

Rome is among the best cities in Europe, ranking fourth in the Resonance list that rewards the best places to travel, live, and invest. This is a great satisfaction for the Capital, which has gained four positions compared to 2023, coming close to the podium. "Few cities offer the opportunity to retrace the entire history of the West like Rome," Resonance stated to justify the Italian city's placement. The ranking was compiled by Resonance, an international company dealing with real estate investments and tourism, taking into account multiple factors including quality of life, prosperity, investment opportunities, economic accessibility of housing, green spaces, nightlife, and even social media activity by the Municipality. Rome, from the 8th place last year, ranked fourth, behind London (1st), Paris (2nd), and Berlin (3rd). In the top ten, Milan is also present at the tenth place. Resonance motivated the ranking position of the different cities. Regarding Rome, it highlighted that in addition to excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, the Capital of Italy "offers green areas and tree-lined streets, along with a quantity of monuments that is unparalleled". As for the entrepreneurial aspect, the company recalls that only in 2023 InterContinental, Bulgari, Edition, and Six Senses have opened new locations in Rome. "Before, people stayed in Rome for two or three days. Now they stay five, six days or even a week," says Elisa Valeria Bove, CEO of the private tour company Roma Experience, interviewed by the same company. "Rome is transforming, almost an open-air construction site," commented Mayor Gualtieri at the MIPIM in Cannes, the annual European real estate investment fair, who said he was proud of the Capital's achievement: "We have worked hard, we have many projects, with many resources to spend. And we must do it well, creating new parks, a new 5g network, but also many other interventions to improve the quality of life of our citizens.
