The requirements

In addition to the minimum requirement of lower secondary education, for admission to the selection, candidates must possess, by the deadline for submission of applications and under penalty of exclusion, the following general requirements.

  1. of legal age but not exceeding the age limits set by current regulations for the right to a pension;
  2. Italian citizenship or citizenship of a European Union member state with excellent knowledge of the Italian language, both spoken and written;
  3. psycho-physical suitability for the employment, without limitations or prescriptions: the declared psycho-physical suitability at the time of submission of the application for admission to the selection procedure will be subject to specific preventive health checks before the signing of the individual employment contract and subsequent entry into service;
  4. enjoyment of political and civil rights of the country of citizenship;
  5. not being excluded from the active political electorate of the country of citizenship;
  6. for candidates subject to conscription, having fulfilled or been exempted from conscription;
  7. not having been the recipient of a dismissal for just cause or for poor performance nor having been declared forfeited from a public employment in accordance with the current provisions concerning the statute of civil servants of the State;
  8. not being in any of the situations of ineligibility and/or incompatibility provided for by Legislative Decree no. 39/2013 ("Provisions on ineligibility and incompatibility of offices in Public Administrations and in private entities under public control, pursuant to article 1, paragraphs 49 and 50, of law 6 November 2012, no. 190") and possessing the integrity requirements referred to in article 147 quinquies of Legislative Decree no. 58/1998 and the Directive of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of 24 June 2013;
  9. not having been convicted of criminal offenses or not having pending criminal proceedings that prevent, according to current regulations, the establishment of an employment relationship with public administrations and not having been subjected to interdiction or measures that exclude from appointment to public employments; not being subjected to custodial security measures or supervised freedom.
