Revitalizing Rome South: A Collaborative Effort for a Vibrant Summer Season

Development of the growing sector, new jobs, improved services, all in full respect of the citizens, to better face the upcoming summer season, which will see the Rome South district, once again at the center of the capital's nightlife. The meeting took place in the afternoon at Eur in the premises of the Municipality IX of Rome Capital, in the presence of the president Titti Di Salvo and the vice Augusto Gregori, the meeting with the representatives of the trade associations SILB, FIPE and CNA Rome, institutional referents of the Roman night world who, along with the entities Ama, Department of Culture, Municipal Police, Red Cross and the managers of clubs and venues in the area - such as Room 26, Spazio Novecento, Le Terrazze, Fiesta, Eur Social Park, Area and Lux Events -, have opened a table for discussion and collaboration in view of the summer of 2024. An afternoon in which "an important memorandum of understanding was signed to enhance our territory, with the aim of collaborating in the realization of summer events and safe, fun and inclusive night animations, in order to guarantee the right to fun and the right to rest, for all citizens", as read on the facebook page of vice Gregori. A post that continues by underlining the willingness on the part of the municipality to work side by side with the nightlife activities, to ensure rules and quality of service, supporting the growth and development of the sector, also creating new job opportunities. "We place a lot of emphasis on the partnership between public and private, since we took office and believe that all productive activities - including the nightlife sector which is often criticized -, bring added value to the neighborhood. It is necessary to stand next to these realities and travel together with them, giving them the possibility to work at their best, for the citizens and for the fun of everyone. Always in the sign of the right to rest, to decorum and to safety", then concluded the vice president Gregori.
