Rafa Nadal to Miss Australian Open Due to Injury

Rafa Nadal will not be on the field at the Australian Open, the first Slam of the season. The Spaniard announced this with a post on Instagram in which he explains that in the last match of the Brisbane tournament he suffered a "micro tear in a muscle". "At this moment I am not ready to compete at the highest level in best of 5 set matches. So I will return to Spain to see my doctor, get treated and rest," he adds in his message.
