Plea Bargain Request in Anas Contract Probe

Tommaso Verdini, son of the former parliamentarian Denis, has requested to plea bargain a sentence of 2 years and 10 months within the investigation on the contracts in Anas in which proceedings are underway for corruption and bid rigging. According to what has been learned, the suspect is awaiting the possible green light from the Rome Prosecutor's Office on the request. In recent weeks, the prosecutors of the Capital, coordinated by the deputy Paolo Ielo, had requested and obtained for Verdini and other suspects, including Fabio Pileri, partner of the former parliamentarian's son in the company Inver, the immediate trial.
