Olivier Giroud Bids Farewell to Milan for MLS Move

The time for farewells has officially arrived: Olivier Giroud says goodbye to Milan. The French striker has announced his departure through the club's channels in an emotional message. An interview that lasted less than a minute, in which he talked about the next steps he will take in the future, which include the Major League Soccer, the American championship known as MLS. Giroud, in his interview, confessed that the next matches will be his last: "I am here to tell you that I will play my last two matches at Milan. I will continue my career, but I will do so in MLS. I am very proud of everything I have done here in three seasons. I think it's the right time to say it. My story with Milan ends this year. Milan will always remain in my heart." In his future, there should be Los Angeles FC, with whom he should have already reached an agreement, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. There, he would find his former national teammate Hugo Lloris, whom he often faced as an opponent during his years in the Premier League. Since joining Milan in the summer of 2021 for about 5 million, Giroud has played 130 matches in all competitions.
