Norman Cyclone Hits Italy: Weather Alert and Forecasts

From Friday, however, we will have a general improvement: the cyclone will move away towards Greece and only widespread instability will remain between Calabria and Sicily close to the mountains, with a weekend almost everywhere sunny and pleasant. The notice predicts from the early hours of tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8, scattered to widespread precipitation, also in the form of showers or thunderstorms, on Sicily, extending to Calabria, Basilicata, and Campania. The phenomena will be accompanied by showers of strong intensity, frequent electrical activity, local hailstorms, and strong gusts of wind. Based on the predicted and ongoing phenomena, a yellow alert has been assessed for tomorrow on part of Molise and the entire territory of Campania, Basilicata, Calabria, and Sicily.
