Nina Soldano Opens Up: Personal Loss and Finding Love

“I am saying this today for the first time, everyone knows that I have never had children, but in reality, when I was on 'Indietro Tutta' with Renzo Arbore, very young and at the beginning, I was pregnant. I lost my baby spontaneously and then I never got pregnant again. It was a great pain in my life, which I never talked about, perhaps not to reopen, years later, that suffering.” Nina Soldano, 61 years old, star of Un Posto al Sole, confesses to Monica Setta on Storie di al bivio, in the episode airing Saturday, April 20 at 2 pm on Rai 2. And she talks about the relationship with her engineer husband Teo Bordagni, met on social media and married in 2016. “We wrote to each other on Facebook - the actress recounts - and the first date was in Naples. It had never happened to me to exchange messages on social media. Teo did not even know who I was but something had already clicked. When we saw each other in front of the sea we never left each other again. I suffered for the death of my brother and he was very close to me. For years I had almost repressed the desire for motherhood which was reborn with love. But by then it was late and anyway the feeling for my husband is very strong and compensates me for all the regrets.”
