A new active space is born in Rome in the sign of inclusion and friendship. The initiative of the non-profit organization Divertitempo - founded in 2017 with the aim of promoting the inclusion of children with disabilities in the world of their peers - will indeed be inaugurated on Friday, March 1st at 12, at the Ferrante Aporti Primary School in Via Antonio Serra 95, the 'Inclusive Space', ready to host children and young people with and without disabilities offering them a series of educational workshops with different levels of learning, but always in the sign of the involvement of everyone. A representative of Rome Capital and Municipality XV will be present at the event. In fact, Municipality XV has created this new and very useful area with the contribution of Ance Rome - Acer, together with IC Nitti.

The activities on the program, which fall under the project called 'Learn the art and do not put them aside' managed by Divertitempo, range from cooking workshops to botany ones, from psychomotor courses to arts and crafts and will take place both during school hours and on weekends. With this initiative, the aim is to enhance and consolidate manual skills, with the strengthening of autonomy in daily activities; to support communication and relationship; to promote the inclusion of young people with disabilities in work activities. In this sense, the involvement of the neighborhood's commercial exercises will be very important.

The president of Municipality XV Daniele Torquati commented on the initiative: 'With the Divertitempo project we continue the long journey that has seen us every day at work in favor of inclusive paths, sharing for the most fragile and reactivation of closed spaces. This new project, active within one of our institutes during school and extracurricular hours and dedicated to the students of the school and to children with disabilities in the area, is a further goal for which I want to thank the Association, Councilors Marchisio and Martelli who have closely followed the programming and the Ferrante Aporti School for availability.'

Great satisfaction from the president of Divertitempo, Gianluca Morelli: 'With this space one of our big dreams becomes reality. This place will allow our boys to be trained to face the life that is out there, often full of obstacles for them. Because all children are special, but some are more so.'

Antonio Ciucci, President of the Roman builders (Ance Rome - ACER), is also happy with the contribution given: 'We are proud to have collaborated with Divertitempo and to have provided concrete help in the realization of the project, making these spaces more functional to learning and the needs of the children and young people involved.'
