The match, valid for the round of 16 of the ATP in Miami, was interrupted for about ten minutes due to the illness of a fan in the stands. The Italian champion quickly intervened once he understood the situation. The game was thus suspended for 10 minutes before resuming. Sinner plays with Hewet, a wheelchair tennis champion present in Miami. What happened: During the match, the referee was called because a fan at the match had lost consciousness behind him. To allow the intervention of the paramedics, the match was stopped with the tennis enthusiast who had a malaise due to the high temperatures and humidity. During the tournament, in fact, Chazaux had fainted, while Matteo Berrettini risked falling to the ground, saving himself only thanks to his racket on which he supported himself.
