Italy's Opponents in the 2024 Davis Cup Revealed: Netherlands, Belgium, and Brazil

From the London draw, the opponents for the Azzurri, the current champions, in the 2024 Davis Cup have been revealed: Netherlands, Belgium, and Brazil. The competition will take place from September 10 to 15 and will be played at the Unipol Arena in Bologna. The top two from each group will qualify for the Finals in Malaga, which will be played from November 19 to 24. The challenges for the Azzurri seem to be well within reach for Italy, who have already beaten the Netherlands last year in the quarterfinals. The boys of Volandri will meet Brazil after 31 years since their last encounter (1993, won 4-1 in Modena) and Belgium after 7 years (Italy lost 3-2 in the quarterfinals in Charleroi in 2017). Other groups: Group A (Bologna): Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil Group B (Valencia): Australia, Czech Republic, France, Spain Group C (Zhuhai): Germany, United States, Slovakia, Chile Group D (Manchester): Canada, Finland, Great Britain, Argentina. The group stage will be played from September 10 to 15 in four cities: Bologna, Manchester, Valencia, and Zhuhai. Each match will consist of two singles and one doubles, all best of two sets out of three. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the finals, scheduled from November 19 to 24 in Malaga with a single-elimination bracket.
