Italy Lottery: No first prize for Rome, Campania and Tuscany win big

Without first category prizes at the Italy Lottery, Rome is consoled with two of the fifteen second category prizes, each worth 100,000 euros. The queen among the second category prizes, reports agipronews, is however Campania, with four winning tickets: in Naples, in Ottaviano (Na) and two in the province of Salerno, in Eboli and Salaconsilina.

Tuscany also smiles, where three 100,000 euro tickets were sold, in Pietrasanta, in the province of Lucca, in Civitella Valdichiana, in the province of Arezzo and in Figline and Incisa Valdarno, in the province of Florence. Double win in Emilia Romagna, in Polesine Zibello, in the province of Parma and in Piacenza. The remaining four lucky tickets, concludes agipronews, were sold in Quartu Sant'Elena, in the province of Cagliari, in Trieste, in Caldaro Sulla Strada del Vino, in the province of Bolzano, and in Catania.

Disappointment in Lazio

Lazio is the "great disappointed" of the Italy Lottery 2023: after five years, in fact, no first category prizes were won in the Region. The last time, agipronews recalls, happened in the 2018 edition: from there on, in Rome and its province, first category prizes were won for a total of 15 million euros, with the exploit of the first prize of 5 million hit in the 2021 edition, to which are added, as far as the overall picture of Lazio is concerned, the additional 2 million euros won in Magliano Sabina, in the province of Rieti, always in the 2021 edition.

All this despite the high number of tickets sold: in Rome, in fact, almost a million tickets were sold, more than double compared to Milan. Lazio, concludes agipronews, remains the region where the most first prizes have been won from 2000 to today, on eight occasions.
