First Medal for Italy in the Aquatics World Championship

The first medal for Italy arrives in the Aquatics World Championship currently being held in Doha. After the good performances of the other Italians in the previous trials, the first medal comes with the silver of Giovanni Tocci and Lorenzo Marsiglia. The two managed to withstand the onslaught of their opponents and, despite a last failed dive, they placed behind China. In fact, they topped the leaderboard with 442.41 points, while the Italian pair won silver and the pass for the Olympics with 384.24 points. Finally, Spain came third, scoring 383.28 points.
