Film Producer Philip Rogosky Found Dead in Rome's Insugherata Park

The lifeless body of Philip Rogosky, the film producer who disappeared about 2 months ago, was found in the Insugherata Park in Rome, in the Cassia area. The grim discovery was made on Sunday morning (March 24) by a park visitor, who noticed the corpse covered in now worn clothes, with the head wrapped in a plastic bag. The police and the 118 health workers could only confirm the death on the spot: it seems that the man has been dead for at least a month. Philip Rogosky was a 56-year-old film producer, who had been involved in advertising for many years and recently in films. Despite the rumors that had spread online, the family has clarified that he never made documentaries and in particular, he never produced any docufilm about Russia. His partner, with whom Philip had two children, described him as meticulous, tidy, nice, polite, and curious. He spoke four languages, expressing himself perfectly in Italian, German, English, and French. About two weeks before his disappearance, the man was off sick with a flu that had particularly weakened him. On Monday, January 29, Philip Rogosky left his home in Rome, in the Ponte Sant'Angelo area, for a walk around 9 in the morning. 'Leave the trash, I'll throw it away,' he had said that morning to his partner Sara shortly before she went to work. From that moment on, he was completely lost, with his phone being constantly turned off. At first, it was thought that the man might have had a malaise near his home, but searches in hospitals and health facilities yielded no results. Relatives and friends immediately reported him missing to the authorities, and an appeal was also launched by the show 'Chi l'ha visto'. A few days after the producer's disappearance, his trousers were found in Flaminio during frantic searches in which relatives, friends, and acquaintances of Philip participated. The area was also thoroughly searched by molecular dogs from the law enforcement, but without results. The partner's hypothesis was that the man might have lost his memory: 'Philip, I don't know if you remember who you are and that you have a family. The kids miss you so much, your friends would like to hug you again,' was the appeal launched on TV. Now that the body has been found, it will be up to the investigators to clarify this sad affair.
