Federica Brignone has achieved her fourth season victory and the 25th in her career by winning the second women's World Cup super-G in Kvitfjell, despite the difficulties caused by a fog bank. With this success, Brignone surpasses Sofia Goggia and Gustav Thoeni becoming the second best Italian skier in the World Cup, behind only Alberto Tomba. The victory also allows her to climb to second place in the overall World Cup standings with 1,268 points, surpassing the American Mikaela Shiffrin.
