Fearful Night for Entrepreneur Couple Robbed at Home in Rome

Moments of fear last night for a 59-year-old entrepreneur and his wife, robbed in their home on Licio Giorgieri street, Pisana-Bravetta district in Rome. Around 11 p.m., a gang of 6 or 7 robbers, with their faces covered and armed with guns and clubs, broke into their villa threatening the domestic worker who was returning. They forced the entrepreneur to open the safe, stealing cash, watches, and jewelry. Then, after having the alarm deactivated, they fled with the loot valued at about 300,000 euros. There were no injuries. The police are investigating the case. Patrol cars and forensic police were on the scene. The investigation is being carried out by officers from the Monteverde Police Station.
