Digital Content Creator Under Tax Investigation for Undeclared Earnings

The Financial Police of the Provincial Command of Savona have carried out a tax verification activity against a digital content creator followed by over 400,000 followers on the most popular social networks, such as Instagram and TikTok, and owner of an account on the Onlyfans site who allegedly did not declare the fees received, falling within the category of self-employment income. The activity exercised, consisting of recording photos and videos and subsequent uploading on the internet aimed at public sharing, would have earned the influencer, between 2017 and 2023, over 120,000 euros in undeclared revenue, derived from the purchase, by private users, of subscriptions or individual digital contents on the Onlyfans site, while, as for social platforms, fees were paid based on the number of views achieved by the published content and likes received. During the investigations, also carried out with the use of banking investigations, the availability of a foreign bank account into which part of the undeclared revenues from the influencer flowed was discovered.
