Delivery Man Dies After Being Crushed by His Own Car

He wanted to try to block the car parked without the handbrake but was overwhelmed by the vehicle and died. The victim is the owner of a kebab shop. Around 10 pm yesterday, he went to personally make a delivery at a home through a well-known delivery app. When he noticed his car, an Opel Astra, parked on a slope inadvertently without the handbrake, moving along the road, he tried to stop the vehicle by standing in front of it but was overwhelmed. It happened in Elini Street, in Aranova, Fiumicino. The man, a 45-year-old Pakistani rider, died instantly. The carabinieri of Torrimpietra arrived at the scene but could only confirm his death.
