Bus Passenger Assaulted in Rome Suburb

A discussion on a bus on the outskirts of Rome ended in kicks and punches this morning. It happened on Via Tiburtina at the height of the Guidonia Montecelio junction. The Carabinieri from the Sant'Angelo Romano station and the Guidonia tenancy intervened on the spot. As far as it has been reconstructed, a passenger began to bother the driver of a Cotral bus, asking him to speed up because he was late for work. So the driver stopped the journey and invited him to get off. At that point, two passengers intervened who assaulted the man bothering the driver with kicks and punches. Then they left. Investigations are underway to trace the attackers. The man was taken to the hospital in yellow code.
