A contest to raise awareness and educate the new generations on sustainability, strengthening their consciousness and sense of responsibility regarding climate change, biodiversity conservation, the importance of correct lifestyles, the benefits of outdoor sports activities, and resource management with a proactive and informed approach.

Today, "Let's Activate for the Planet", the creative contest by Sport e Salute in collaboration with AsVis, dedicated to the over 11,000 classes participating in the Scuola Attiva KIDS (for primary school) and Scuola Attiva JUNIOR (for lower secondary school) projects, was presented.

The initiative, presented at the Fiera Didacta in Florence, allows students to create an interdisciplinary connection with civic education, exploring in a simple and engaging way the 17 global goals of the UN's 2030 Agenda.

"Young people are our future, and raising their awareness about the environment from an early age is crucial for building a conscious citizenship. The same goes for sports activities. Through participation in a contest, play, and playful-motor activity, learning becomes active and young people not only acquire knowledge but also learn to apply it in real contexts," said Andrea Lucchetta, an icon of Italian volleyball and Legend of Sport e Salute, protagonist of "I Have a Message for You", the contest's video-musical, online from today, which will make children, teenagers, teachers, and parents dance and sing.

To participate, by April 15, 2024, classes must create and send a creative content (video, jingle, choreography, or text) capable of transmitting a strong and clear message with the goal of contributing to improving the planet. Many prizes in sports equipment are up for grabs, at the provincial and regional levels. Moreover, a super jury, composed of the Sport e Salute Legend Team, will identify two national winners (one for Scuola Attiva Kids and one for Scuola Attiva Junior), who will be awarded during the Sustainable Development Festival. The best choreographies or the most original songs created will be published on the official channels of Sport e Salute.
