AC Milan's Goalkeeper Maignan Injured in Europa League Clash Against Slavia Prague

AC Milan took to the field for the Europa League round of 16 against Slavia Prague, but after just 20 minutes lost Mike Maignan to injury. The French goalkeeper was involved in a rather harsh collision with Vlcek who, shortly after the start of the game, overwhelmed him. About five minutes later, the goalkeeper collapsed again, calling for the intervention of the medical staff before getting up until the 18th minute, when Pioli replaced him with Sportiello. As for Maignan's condition: the collision with Vlcek was quite violent and harsh, with Maignan being hit at the height of the right knee in an attempt to kick away a dangerous ball in the area. At the time of the substitution, however, Maignan walked off on his own without needing help to stand.
