OFFERTA SPECIALE
Slash, legendary guitarist of the band Guns N' Roses, has announced the tragic passing of Lucy-Bleu Knight, the twenty-five-year-old daughter of his partner Meegan Hodges. The news comes just hours after the cancellation of four dates of the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. tour.
The Announcement and Mourning
This is the post shared by Saul Hudson, known as Slash, regarding the premature passing of the young woman:
"Lucy Bleu-Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, on July 19, 2024.
With these words, Slash bids farewell to Lucy-Bleu Knight, just hours after a post announcing the cancellation of four dates of the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. tour. The guitarist's partner and the girl's mother, Meegan Hodges, also reshared the same words.
Slash and Meegan started dating again in 2015, after a previous relationship in 1989. From that moment, Slash had embraced Lucy as a daughter. The girl shared a passion for music with her stepfather: she worked at Electric Lady Management, a recording studio for emerging talents.
The Causes and the Mystery of the Post After the News
The causes of Lucy-Bleu Knight's death are currently unknown. However, a few hours after the family announcement, a post appeared on Lucy's Instagram profile:
"Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/controlled, told you to quit your day job while I was comfortably financially supported by my parents, ignored real problems by hiding behind excessive positivity - I apologize. Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly large ego, an insecure heart, and the fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to improve from the mediocre work I did as Lucy-Bleu. Peace".
A message that has sparked curiosity among users, who have speculated about the origin of the post, possibly scheduled by Lucy herself before her passing.
