Women are increasingly scared to walk the streets of Rome alone. Over the past few months, as many of them report on social media, some neighborhoods in the capital are becoming increasingly dangerous due to a serial robber.

This is a man, probably South American, who operates with a hood to avoid being easily recognized. His victims are women who walk alone on the street. He spots them and then snatches their belongings. And if the unfortunate victim attempts to react, she is attacked.

Various neighborhoods are targeted: Trieste, Salario, Africano. But there are also cases in the Montesacro, Tiburtino and Piazza Bologna areas. A series of hits against at least about 30 women. However, it is not excluded that the man may not be the only robber in action.

According to the Corriere della Sera, however, it seems that the police - thanks to the testimonies of the victims and the images of the surveillance cameras in various areas - have managed to identify the robber. It would be a 30-year-old South American, about one meter eighty tall with an athletic physique.
