The winter transfer market is about to close but the significant moves will come in the summer and a new waltz of attackers is expected. Victor Osimhen has rather explicitly expressed his desire to try new experiences, implying that this might be his last season with Napoli. The Nigerian centre-forward, fresh from winning the championship, is engaged in the Africa Cup with his Nigeria and from there he has not stopped talking about himself in market terms.

Mbappé and Osimhen: Real Madrid must choose 

As highlighted by Football Transfer, his name has ended up on the Real Madrid radar and this could create a tangle with another great market man, Kylian Mbappé. The choice between the two is becoming one of the big doubts of the Blancos who on the one hand are looking for a pure centre-forward style Benzema and in this sense Osimhen would be the right profile for characteristics. On the other hand, they would finally like to bring Mbappé to Madrid after chasing him for two consecutive transfer sessions, unsuccessfully. The Frenchman prefers to start from the left and in that tile there is already Vinicius Jr. This could also create cracks in the locker room and affect the balance.

Even though Osimhen has recently renewed with Napoli, his adventure seems to have come close to the end. De Laurentiis also confirmed that Osimhen will leave at the end of the current season: «We all knew it from last summer. Our negotiation was long and friendly, we were stretching the soup, but he will go to Real Madrid, to Psg or to Premier League». The Paris Saint-Germain hypothesis, therefore, remains alive. Perhaps in place of Mbappé. It will be hot months and the names of Osimhen and Mbappé will be two of the most talked about. 

Mbappé is expiring and has a rather particular situation with Psg. Osimhen, on the other hand, has renewed until 2026 but has a clause of about 120 million euros that if paid will allow the centre-forward to leave without complications.
