The Udinese-Roma match was suspended amid concerns from fans and players due to a health scare of Evan Ndicka. The central defender collapsed on the ground at the 72nd minute due to chest pain, which was also indicated to his teammates at the moment of falling to the ground. Medical staff entered the field with a defibrillator, but it was not used by the rescuers who carried the defender off the field on a stretcher. Once arrived at the hospital, only 7 minutes away from Udinese's facility, the player underwent medical examinations not only of a cardiological nature. Indeed, doctors fear that the malaise was caused by a trauma. This hypothesis was noted not only by the hospital's doctors but also by some fans who identified on social media a clash with Lucca. The Udinese striker, in an attempt to gain space to better manage the ball, hits Ndicka with an elbow in the center of the chest causing him a lot of pain. An episode, occurred without malice and unintentionally by the Udinese attacker who was only looking at the ball, which could have caused the central defender's malaise.
