Last night just before 11 p.m., a road accident occurred on Casilina Road between Colleferro and Anagni in the province of Rome. A car, after overturning, crashed into a tree and caught fire.

The Victims

Inside, firefighters from the local detachment, along with the Carabinieri of the area and 118 emergency personnel, found the charred body of two young individuals. A third youth was ejected from the cabin, taken to the hospital in Colleferro in serious condition, and then transferred, due to severe injuries, to the Policlinico di Tor Vergata where he remains in life-threatening condition. The three onboard were Albanian citizens.

The Stolen Car

The car, a black BMW, was found to be stolen. The car and tools used for breaking in, found inside the trunk, were seized by the Carabinieri. The bodies were taken to the morgue of the Policlinico Tor Vergata where they were also identified through fingerprints. The three occupants of the car, the two deceased and the one hospitalized, are all Albanian citizens, residing in Rome, all with prior criminal records for property crimes.
