Actor Chance Perdomo died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 27. He had gained significant popularity for his role as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix horror series "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina". The announcement of the tragic passing, which occurred on Friday, March 29, was made by his agent Larissa Saenz in a statement.

"Authorities have informed that no other individual was involved in the accident," Saenz specified, without providing further details about the location of the death at this time. "His insatiable appetite for life was felt by everyone who knew him. His warmth will continue to live on in those he loved most," the agent added, then asking for respect "for the privacy of the family who is mourning the loss of their beloved son and brother."

In addition to playing the pansexual warlock Ambrose Spellman in 36 episodes of "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" (2018-2020), Perdomo took on the role of a superhuman with magnetic manipulation abilities in the Amazon Prime spinoff series of "The Boys" called "Gen V" (2023). In cinema, he was Landon Gibson in the films "After 3", "After 4", and "After 5" three times. Chance Perdomo was born on October 19, 1996, in Los Angeles, California. As a child, he moved with his mother to Southampton, in Hampshire County, England, where he attended Redbridge Community School before going to Peter Symonds College in Winchester. Perdomo intended to study law at university, but then moved to London to pursue acting; he joined the National Youth Theatre and trained at the Identity School of Acting.

He began his acting career in 2017 with a part in the Cbbc series "Hetty Feather", a drama set in the Victorian era. Perdomo appeared in several television programs and short films before being cast among the protagonists of "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina", also starring Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, and Jaz Sinclair. He played Ambrose Spellman for four seasons from 2018 to 2020. The warlock Ambrose Spellman, cousin of Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka), often acted as Sabrina's conscience and accomplice, often keeping secrets on her behalf, despite fearing that her practices could endanger her.

Perdomo also portrayed Jerome Rogers in the TV movie "Killed by My Debt" (2018) by Joseph Bullman, which earned him a Bafta nomination for best lead actor.
