Sadness in the world of basketball NBA: Dejan Milojevic, assistant coach of the Golden State Warriors, has died at 46. The deputy to Steve Kerr had been hospitalized due to a heart attack. As reported by ESPN, he felt unwell on Tuesday evening (January 16), in a restaurant in Salt Lake City, where the team was for the match scheduled for Wednesday evening against the Utah Jazz (The match was postponed). Dejan Milojevic had been assistant coach of the Los Angeles franchise since 2021. After playing professionally for 15 years, he embarked on a coaching career first in his country, Serbia, and then for a brief period in Montenegro, before the big leap to the NBA. Milojevic was known primarily for having significantly contributed to the technical growth of Nikola Jokic, when he was in Serbia.
