Jannik Sinner is preparing to make his debut at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, where he will start as the number 2 seed, behind Novak Djokovic. The South Tyrolean is coming off a victory at the ATP in Miami but is already focused on the Principality's tournament where he aims to perform well on clay as well. The Italian tennis player was the protagonist of a skit with a reporter from Le Iene. On the central court of the Principality, journalist Stefano Corti challenged Jannik to a game of ping pong: "Since you are super competitive, we said we would surely lose at tennis so how about three shots at ping pong." Jannik continued to walk without giving much consideration to the reporter and before heading to the locker room, he replied: "No, no look...I with you...". Already in February, he had declined the invitation from Amadeus to Sanremo to prepare for upcoming tournaments. Even this time, Jannik did not indulge in a moment of joking and relaxation. However, the South Tyrolean did allow himself to be photographed and sign autographs after training on the central court of Monte Carlo.
