Today is the day when the Italian Soccer Federation will try to clarify the racist insults directed by Acerbi to Juan Jesus during the Inter-Napoli match. The controversies have followed one another in the past few days, and today the two were heard by the Prosecutor's Office, which decided to listen to the two versions of the defenders. The central defender of the blues had accused the former Lazio player of calling him «black», an incident immediately reported to the referee who let it go without taking any measures. Acerbi, on the other hand, in the days following the match first emphasized the fact that he is not racist, then stating that he had never uttered those words and that he had been misunderstood.

What Acerbi said in the prosecutor's office

The central defender of Inter, in the conversation with Chiné held remotely and which lasted about an hour, said that he had never uttered those racist insults thus reiterating his innocence. The former Chievo and Milan player maintains his version of the facts, with the conversations also continuing with Juan Jesus. Today, in fact, the Brazilian central defender was also heard, who is not new to these episodes. Already when he was at Roma, he had been targeted by some "fans", with one of them having been exposed by the player himself on his Instagram profile, receiving a ban, and then immediately apologizing to the central defender.
