As every year, the State Police have decided to gift Easter eggs, donated by Nestlé, and moments of serenity to patients and doctors in some of the Capital's hospitals. The first stop was the child neuropsychiatry department of the Policlinico Umberto I. Officers from the Rome Police Headquarters and the Postal Police Service arrived for the hospitalized children and teenagers with many colored eggs. The moment of gifting was particularly felt by everyone, and the youngsters expressed the desire to see the police officers again to ask them many more questions and exchange opinions on various topics. Immediately after, the agents went to the Policlinico Umberto I to also gift Easter eggs to the emergency room doctors, always on the front line to help everyone. On this occasion, the General Director Fabrizio d'Alba was also present, who wished all doctors and police officers a happy Easter, reminding the importance of our continuous collaboration and our work aimed at the community. In the following days, the police officers visited the young patients of the Ifo San Gallicano and the Policlinico Tor Vergata, where the doctors and nurses, enthusiastic about the surprise, actively participated in the gift delivery moment. Lastly, this morning, the agents visited the surgery department of the Santo Spirito Hospital, in the presence of the Extraordinary Commissioner of ASL Roma 1 Giuseppe Quintavalle, who participated in the gift delivery to the patients, wishing them a Happy Easter and a speedy recovery. Days full of surprises for the young patients and exciting for the agents, happy to have given, to those who will not be able to spend Easter at home, moments of joy accompanied by big smiles and a bit of carefreeness. Every day, the women and men of the State Police are close to those who are less fortunate and provide support to those who actively work for the community. The delivery of the Easter eggs is a tangible expression of closeness to the patients, young and old alike, but at the same time of gratitude towards those who work tirelessly to ensure the health of all of us.
