For the first time in Rome, the exclusive event dedicated to the future of work and new skills.

More than fifty guests including top managers, academics and experts from all over the world have gathered, today and tomorrow, at Luiss for the Future Talent Summit, which is being held for the first time in Rome, at the University campus named after Guido Carli.

Two days of meetings and debates to take stock of the skills revolution that is transforming the job market. On one hand, the opportunities of the Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence that will have an impact on 60% of jobs in advanced economies according to the International Monetary Fund. On the other hand, sustainability, now central to attracting and retaining young candidates, increasingly sensitive to an inclusive and respectful corporate culture of diversity and the environment.

The event is organized by Future Talent Council, a global think tank that aims to rethink the future of work and education, and represents an important opportunity to "systematize", to pool different expertise and skills with the aim of providing a compass to navigate in a fragmented and constantly changing geo-economic context.

As emphasized by the Rector of Luiss, Andrea Prencipe, "one of the challenges for higher education is to adopt an increasingly open perspective towards companies, promoting interdisciplinary and innovative educational models that prepare young people for an evolving world of work and ensure a smooth transition between academic path and professional career. A goal that can only be achieved by fostering the meeting and virtuous collaboration between Universities, companies and institutions: for this reason, appointments like the Future Talent Summit are now more fundamental than ever".

Among the speakers at the event is also the CEO of Engineering Maximo Ibarra, who explains: "New technologies evolve quickly and Artificial Intelligence is destined to have a pervasive impact on the world of work, business and organizations: investing in digital skills therefore becomes increasingly indispensable to offer young talents a tool box with which to understand, govern and anticipate the profound changes underway. But also to accelerate the opportunities that digital can offer in terms of new jobs and greater social inclusiveness. Engineering pursues these goals also by investing in training and through partnerships with Universities: among these certainly there is Luiss, because in addition to representing an excellence in higher education, it represents a model for humanistic education, increasingly strategic for the development of digital. The Future Talent Summit is an excellent opportunity to cross companies and academic world, so as to accelerate digital transformation and sustainable development of the Country".
