The end of the match between Lazio and Roma in the Coppa Italia was fiery, with the players getting carried away. Three of them were sent off, including Pedro who apologized to his fans and teammates through a social media post after the match: «Too much tension, I apologize to the fans and the team. Thank you all for another beautiful evening in the Derby! Keep it up! Forza Lazio». With these words, the former Barcelona player, one of the oldest on the field, tried to take responsibility for the red card he received at the end of the game.

What happened

After a clash with Mancini, the striker took the ball from the defender's hands, a former teammate. This created some tension between the two, with Paredes coming from behind trying to do justice by grabbing Pedro by the neck. A gesture that the Spaniard did not like, who lost his temper trying to do justice himself. Orsato had to intervene to try to restore calm and to do so he cautioned both the Argentine and the former Barça who was sent off.
