Market moves in MotoGP as well. Fermín Aldeguer lands in Ducati: the Spanish talent, born in 2005, has signed an agreement that will see him riding a Desmosedici GP starting from 2025 for two seasons, with the option to extend the contract for an additional two. Aldeguer, an 18-year-old from La Ñora (Murcia), made his debut in the World Championship in 2021 directly in Moto2. In his first race, he finished seventh in the Italian GP. In 2022, Fermín raced his first full season and last year he won his first race, finishing the World Championship in third place with 5 wins, 7 podiums, and 3 pole positions. This year Aldeguer will race his last season in the Moto2 world championship, which started a few days ago with the Qatar GP.

«I wish to extend a warm welcome to Fermín into the Ducati family - words from Luigi Dall'Igna, General Manager of Ducati Corse -. Aldeguer is one of the strongest riders of the new generation in the world championship, he has shown incredible speed». «I am really happy to have this opportunity: thanks to Ducati I will realize the dream I have been chasing since I was little - the words of the Spanish rider -. The time has come to make the big jump and compete with the best riders in the world and moreover, I will do it with the best bike on the grid. I will give my all to leave this category with my head held high with the best possible results before facing the new adventure in MotoGP».
