Federica Brignone wins the giant slalom in Saalbach at the World Cup finals. She finishes with a total time of 2'20"05, ahead of the New Zealander Alice Robinson by +1'36 and the Norwegian Thea Louise Stjernesund by +1'67. Lara Gut-Behrami finishes in tenth position and mathematically wins the overall Cup, succeeding in the hall of fame to Mikaela Shiffrin. Brignone thus finishes in second place in the giant slalom standings with 750 points, only 21 less than the Swiss. Ninth place for Bassino, with 259 points. In the overall, Brignone is still second with 1472 points (208 less than Gut-Behrami), with two races left in the season.
