Towards the end of the match, Ronaldo was hastily trying to retrieve a ball that had gone out for a throw-in: an opponent from Al-Hilal, at that moment leading 2-0, obstructed him in his attempt to put the ball back into play, and then the Portuguese elbowed him: the referee, having seen everything, decides for the expulsion of the Portuguese who, in response, directs his anger against the match official, first pretending to throw a punch at him, then ranting against him and finally sarcastically applauding him while leaving the field. Ronaldo's Al Nassr's goal by Mané was in vain. In the Super Cup final, Al-Hilal, the leader of the Saudi Pro League, will face Al-Ittihad.
