"Notes of Light When Music Illuminates" is the title of the charity concert that will take place on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 8:30 pm at the Santa Cecilia Hall of the Ennio Moricone Auditorium Parco della Musica (Pietro De Coubertain 30). Promoted by the Department of Women's, Child's and Public Health Sciences of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital Foundation IRCCS, in collaboration with the Oppo Association and its Onlus rooms, the initiative will see the participation of many personalities from the entertainment world. The Event This event, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of the birth of the Gemelli Hospital in 1964, and organized in particular by the Oncological Gynecology of the A. Gemelli University Hospital IRCCS, aims to promote and support not only scientific and research activities, but the constant commitment dedicated to the protection of women's health, which includes prevention, diagnosis and all those medical-surgical activities dedicated to the treatment of gynecological cancers. It is an event evening full of music, presented by the television presenter Carlo Conti together with Annalisa Manduca, which will see the participation of Serena Autieri, Al Bano, Beppe Fiorello, Gigi D’Alessio and Renato Zero. The concert will benefit from the musical contribution of the State Police Band, directed by Maestro Maurizio Billi, of the National Chorus Academy of Santa Cecilia, directed by Maestro Andrea Secchi, and of the violin masters Giuseppe Gibboni and Olga Zakharova. "This appointment with music and solidarity - anticipates Professor Giovanni Scambia, director of Oncological Gynecology and scientific director of the A. Gemelli University Hospital IRCCS - wants to focus attention on the importance of prevention and timely diagnosis in female oncological diseases". The proceeds, derived from the concert, will be donated to the fundraising to support the clinical and research activities of Oncological Gynecology.
