Body image, the relationship with food and possible therapies: these are the topics at the center of 'Mentifricio - the cultural appointment that refreshes your mind', the review that uses sociability and creativity as a tool in support of psychological well-being. The meeting, which will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 7:00 pm in Piazza dell'Orologio 14 in Rome, at the Essenza Verde.lab lounge, will start from the analysis of the book 'Nudo' by Andrea Picariello (Saggese Editori), the autobiography of a liberation from the cage of pathological obesity through bariatric surgery and psychotherapeutic support. The psychologist and psychotherapist Emanuela Paone, Head of the Psychology Outpatient Clinic of the UOC Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery La Sapienza Polo Pontino and SICOB (Italian Society of Obesity Surgery) counselor as well as part of the homonymous Foundation, and Ertilia Giordano, creator and artistic director of 'Mentifricio' will discuss it with the author. With the artistic contribution of the performer Samantha Fantauzzi and the singer-songwriter Lacasta, it will be possible to raise awareness on the delicate issue of eating behavior disorders, on art and creativity as therapeutic adjuvants in a climate, as usual, of 'committed carefreeness'. After the success of the first appointments, in the presence of the influencer Cosma Brussani, the artist Emma Allegretti, the author Alessandra Lardo and authoritative experts in psychological well-being, 'Mentifricio' returns to the stage and opens the doors to those who find in culture, sharing and confrontation their comfort zone. The event is open to everyone and admission is free.
