A curious revelation involves the Fiorentina. According to what was revealed by the Tuscan daily La Nazione, during the construction work for the Viola Park, Fiorentina's sports center, a Roman farm, a road and especially a necropolis with almost 170 graves (with skeletons inside) dating back to a pre-Etruscan community, the Villanovan civilization, were found.

In detail, there are six well graves and in another point hundreds of loculi. «Also in the graves were found objects that are currently in the deposits of our superintendency» declared the Superintendent of Archaeology, fine arts and landscape for the metropolitan city of Florence, Antonella Ranaldi. «The skeletons instead are in Scandicci in another center, something also remained at the Viola Park» she concluded.
